It's fun but it assumes you are a 80-90s nerd like the billonaire Halliday. If you are not you'll miss a lot of references.
It's weird how it says Aich was kinda enpowered hiding her identity as a black lesbian woman behind a white male avatar. Racism and homophobia still exist, and she would have suffered it if she used an avatar like her. Cline doesn't get it.
Also Halliday is pretty much a unquestioned "god" in this universe. He dominated and owned the world basically (when he was alive).
However this book is nice if you want light entertainment.

This book says your wishes don't become true immediately because you could regret it. If I wish an elefant and then regret it, I should be able to wish for it to disappear, right? That would be more logic and easier.
But of course we know that only wishing for stuff to happen won't make it true. The universe isn't listening to you. You have to live and do your best, and maybe you could have your wishes come true.
