La base es interesante: Una sociedad patriarcal, que gira en torno a una monarquía de leyes infranqueables, en la que Cenicienta fue real y, de forma oficial, no se pone en duda su leyenda. De forma extraoficial, ya es otra cosa. Además, la protagonista me tenía enamorada desde el principio. Una chica negra, rebelde, enamorada de su mejor amiga y en contra de todo lo que su sociedad la obliga a hacer. Hay algunas cosas predecibles y el final es precipitado, pero eso no quita lo mucho que me he entretenido descubriendo los entresijos de este cuento de hadas retorcido.
