Dark Side Genshiken

Raw look inside the manga industry from a longtime mangaka. A world of cramped rooms, chainsmoking, hunched backs, and struggling to make rent. the struggle against entropy, the end of the old ways, the suckitude of the new- maybe a bit too much worship of the radical old, but if you grew up during the bubble era it probably looks like one long ride downhill. A beautiful, ugly little run. If you have any interest in how the sausage is made, give this a read.
