Como de costumbre, Ellroy es capaz de mezclar eventos que pasaron en la historia de Los Ángeles con su sórdida imaginación en un punto donde cuesta saber dónde está el límite entre una cosa y otra.

Además, por mucho que esté ambientada en los 40-50's, hay cosas que no cambian.
